Catch 22.

If ASOS Curve keep doing this to me, New York and Los Angeles are going to be a long time away.

I woke up this morning, feeling a bit down in the dumps. I'm not dealing well with the idea of being 24 tomorrow. But I went on to the curve section, this has become my daily ritual, even before brushing my teeth, to see if there was anything new. There was this....

I felt so much better when I saw this. The price was not too bad either, $53.79 but with the dollar being so excellent this morning it only cost me $53.76!! I know that's only 3 cents, but it's the first time something has actually converted to a cheaper price! I can't belive how strong the dollar is at the moment, it's really amazing. It's making me want to go right now, but I'm thinking febuary 2012 may be more viable, because I have to work out a shopping/saving ratio. Obviously the shopping portion of the ratio needs to be bigger.

I fell inlove with this skirt, the moment I saw it. It reminds me of skirts I found in my nan's walk in closet when i was growing up. I'd always try to wear them, but my nan when she was my age must have been so skinny, because they wouldnt zip up. So when I saw this, I was like.....oh.my.god, it's my nan's skirt made perfectly for me!

I've got a few ideas on how I'm going to style it, which includes getting a tshirt from New look. But Its going to look amaze! I can't wait to do a OOTD with it.

Tomorrow is my birthday, I'm 24! I'll be doing a post on that tomorrow!

Until then xx <3

OOTD: Fog.

I wasn't even sure if I should do this post. It's nothing super exciting, just some clothes that I've remixed. The photos turned out good, so I thought why not?! It's actually a great outfit and even though we are heading into winter here, I feel I can still get a few more outfits use from this blazer before it gets too freezing.

Blazer, Top, Jeggins -ASOS Curve / Necklace - House of Harlow /
Claddah Ring - my own / Gold Spider Ring - Samantha Wills / Shoes - Dolce Vita.

I had ordered this blazer, I think about 2 months ago but It never arrived. ASOS refunded me, no hassles, but a friend of mine was ordering a few things for himself, which he got express delivered so I got him to order this as well. So it all worked out in the end! I am SO glad I got this blazer. I've never been a "jacket" kinda gal. But I can say, the only thing I feel towards this one is 100% love.

As mentioned in a previous post, the jeans are heaven and the top is simply lovely. All three items are pure luxury and quality, at a very resonable price if you ask me :) The shoes, well one shoe really, totally hurt my right foot, as a few weeks ago my little toe on that foot, got quite a nasty knock. The bruise went from once side of my foot to the other, but Im pretty sure I didnt break it, I suppose I should have gone to hospital? But I guess it was more my silly foot that the shoe. They are super easy to walk in and they look great!

As you may have guessed by now, I love my jewels. My ring was the real statement piece in this outfit, it's a gigantic, jewelled spider! It has a really nice weight to it, not to heavy as to weigh your hand down, but not so light you won't notice if it slid off your finger, or something like that.

Spinder ring - Samantha Wills / Claddah Ring - My own.
Bag - Chanel.
My nan thinks this is like a knuckle duster, but don't they have to cover all your knuckles?? I don't like spidies crawlling around my house, heck! I don't even like spiderman.....but I don't mind this very pretty and blinged out one of my finger!

The following photos of me getting a little fancy with the photo shop and also a few little outtakes! :)

Sorry for the squinty eyes, It was early, I was sleepy and my fringe needs a trim!

The joys of photoshop! The third pic is of me having a disagreement with my photographer, The
cardigan is by Vivian Chan Shaw, I put it on because it got so cold where I was.
I got it in her sample sale about a year ago for I think
$650?? It has like a glitter in it too!

I'll just add one final note. My nail polish shade is "come to bed red" by Butter London. I have to say that they have the best collection of nail colours, including base and top coats. Also the cuticle remover is amaze and the cuticule oil, which I use daily is so, so, so, so beautiful and the smell is devine. I used to use O.P.I and nothing else. This brand has made me swap, my nails have never looked this amazing!

Stay beautiful Dolls, Until next time xx <3

I want, But I keep telling myself I need....

So towards the end of this year, or possibly Feburary next year I'll be heading around the globe to the following places; Hong Kong, London (with a possible side trip to Paris), New York and from there driving to Los Angeles.

Apart from the obvious fact that I need to stop shopping from the ASOS sale and start saving. The ideas of shopping in these Cities has got me beyond excited... my Louis Vuitton Luggage is all ready waiting to be packed for this trip! So I thought I will do some online research of where I want to go shopping, so as to use my time the best way. Obviously I'm going to New look in the UK, and order as much as I like from ASOS to get same day delivery! But when I'm in the states, my choices open up 10 fold. I think I will more than likely only go to Torrid for shoes, but after looking at Saks online this will be the first department store I head too.

T-bags Dress, Salon Z - Saks Fifth Avenue

Pairie New York, Salon Z - Saks Fifth Avenue
These are by T-bags and Prarie New York. They are about $300 per dress, but I am a dress girl so this is not at all overpriced to me. If you like these dress's you can check them out here and here. I hoping that these dresses will be in the sale rack or something when I do get there, if not (quitly sheds a tear at the thought) I'm pretty sure they will have something else just as fabulous. Also while in NYC I thought about heading down to Re/Dress in  Brooklyn and Also Monif. C in Manhattan.

If anyone has any suggestions of any places I should check out, please let me know!

Also I just wanted to share a pic of half my wardrobe :)

Another outfit post is coming soon dolls xx <3

Bow Chicka Wow wow...

So an new day and with that, a new outfit post. As you can see from the pics above I am a little bit more dressed up than my last few posts. A simple reason... A date! And the moment I'm not particulary interested in having a realtionship, as I only broke up with someone a few months ago. But I thought why not? Practice my dating skills once more and more importantly date outfits! I felt that this dress was really perfect for a first date. The florals make it girlie and flirty but the leather brings it back, makes it a little tougher, and a lot more sexy. The dress is from the new Asos Curve range, Its really quite comfy - I ordered a UK26 but they sent me a UK24 which worked out great as there is smocking in the back and we all know how that gives over time. The leather jacket is from Estelle at Myer. I got it last winter and it was $329 but it really is the most beautilful leather, it already feels like it's been worn in. I laybed it so I didn't have to fork all that cash over at once, but when I made regular payments it soon came home with me. It fits beautifully. Love.

The Chanel bag is classic with the padding but the shape is such a
different twist, but you can't fit a whole lot in it. Mostly some
gloss, cell, credit card and I.D., but really what more could you
need on a night out? Maybe some cash. You could fit that too. Easy.
It really is a soft soft leather and it also has a magnetic clasp so nothing is going to fall out.

The jewels I wore were by Samantha Wills. The photos really do not capture how this necklace just glistens and shines. It really is amaze.
Its called "Atlantic Pearl" and it really does feel as though it has been plucked straight out of the ocean, maybe even off a mermaid.... clearly I've been watching Peter Pan, but you get my drift? yes?
And the ribbon you can tell is of such lovely quality, so thank you Samantha Wills. You can check out her collection here.

And finally before I forget, Shoes! Shoes are important to
the outfit of course. Luckily my date was over six foot,
beacuse these shoes I think were 4 or 5 inches, I'm
already 5'9/5'10 so that equals one tall doll. But I'm cool with my height, and any one that thinks I'm too tall is probably only jealous that they have to reach for stuff on the top self! But these are actually quite comfy to walk in because your foot is all strapped in and you don't feel like your feet might slip out. Still these shoes do take condfidence to walk in, because as I said they do make me amazon tall. But I love that, so all good and when your a plus size girl people always stare, so give them something worth staring at.

I hope you like the post and please leave as many comments as you like!

Till the next post dolls xx <3

Price Tag....

This outfit came together will listening to Jessie J's Price Tag. I have a major girl crush on her at the moment as she is slightly amazing!

It's a totally fun outfit and I was having so much fun dancing and singing around my bedroom as I got dressed this morning.

The top is from ASOS Curve and the quality is just amaze. The fit is perfect and I would have loved it a bit shorter but this length does work very well. I teamed it with some bright teal coloured platform shoes from Torrid for a bit of contrast and a bright pop of colour that I think really lifts the pale pinks in the top.

I teamed it with the jeggins I got from the ASOS sale. I've been keeping an eye out for another pair as the fit is unbelivable and the other ASOS curve jeggins are nothing like these. These are the softest denim I think ever invented and you know when you get that loose bit around the back of your knee? Doesn't even exsist in these jeggings. They are tight while still being incredibly comfy at the same time and that to me is the perfect combo! When it came to accessories, Jessie J's song totally inspired me. I tried to find the most glitzy, glam jewelery I owned. Easy. But I think thats the opposite of what her song is supposed to inspire... oops.

Firstly some amazing Samantha Wills "Tsarina" Earrings. $175.00. At the moment the SW website (http://www.samanthawills.com.au/) is offering a free gift (while stocks last) if you buy two or more items, and free international shipping if you buy three or more items. Her jewerlly is beautiful, and the quality is amazing. Her peices are something you will have forever! Something your daughters and granddaughters for that matter, will cherish forever when you pass them along!

Also an amazing Peacock cuff from Charlie Brown in Sydney. I dont even want to say how much this cost me because Im quite sure I will start to feel sick if I think about it. But considering its the only one in Sydney, or so the sales girl said, Im VERY happy with the purchase.

And Finally an amazing find! I found this beautiful vintage inspire coat by Estelle at Myer. It was $199 but I had a voucher that got me $20.00 off every $75.00 I spent, so I ended up getting $40.00 off so I can't feel too guilty about it, right??

Till next time dolls xx <3>

OOTD

Today I was in a complete rush, as it turned out I had a doctors appointment that I had comepletely forgotten about - so I completely relied on an outfit that I know works, even though I know I can tweak it and change it up a bit.

My last outfit post I think was much more summery, but lucky for me this dress is going to work in all seasons, I almost put some opaque tights on as well, but luckily my legs didn't freeze and fall off :)
So I started with my drapy blazer from ASOS over a dress that was in my last post, but it was so cold outside today I switched to a cardigan and snood from top shop. I ended up actually taking a short faux fur coat with me, luckily I didn't need it though.

I know it's kinda boring and not all that different to the post from yesterday. But for me it felt hugely differet, I think it was much less formal and much more winter inspired. Especially with the snood from Top Shop, its such a beautiful colour and perfect for the area I live in. By the way for those of you who dont know I live in the Blue Mountains, which is about 2 hours from Sydney! My little version of Forks.....now to finding a version of Edward Cullen to call mine!

I did actually change necklaces between photos, the first was a copper unicorn by Peaches Geldof for Made and the second, which you cant really see under the snood is the Tiger Eye necklace by House of Harlow.

I hope you enjoyed the post! I need to tell you all to check out Adeles new album "21". Not only is she a plus size fashion inspiration for me, but she is amazingly talented. You need to hear the song "Rolling in the Deep". Amaze.
Soon Dolls xx
