OOTN: Once Upon A Time..

In a land far, far away. A girl bought a blouse from Target that was the most perfect crimson shade. It was flouncy and sheer, simply lovely. When she laid eyes on it, she knew it was meant to be.

So clearly from my fairy tale-esque story, I got this sheer blouse from Target. The skirt, is actually a dress from Asos Curve. I bought this a few years back in one of their Christmas sales, but they sent me a miss marked size. So it didn't fit me properly, but today with the guidance of my lovely grandmother, I turned it into a maxi skirt. It actually has a more defined waist than you can see with this top, I pulled the top out a little so it was loose and hung over!  

I love the almost Army like colours in this skirt and the red really plays off that. But because of the softness of the skirt and top, the lace of the shoes and the ribbon belt it has an almost romantic notion to it. The rings and necklace add a touch of luxe. 

The necklace was a one off piece by an amazing designer called Bells Jewellery. I first discovered the brand back, the Christmas before last and I got a beautiful Rose Quartz necklace - again, a one off. They are all hand made and you can feel how special they are when you wear them. You can feel the love that's gone into them.


A small note about the top from Target. It comes in black too (which I got). It only comes from the straight sized section, and 18 is as big as that section goes. But - the wrists and the waist band are elastic and it could actually fit someone with more curves than I have. And also if your shy this top may not be for you. It's very sheer, but that's why I loved it - it also has an opening in the back - so you still get to show some skin!
