My love for hats was confirmed when I bought this beauty. As I said in a previous post I got it on sale for about $20 when I was getting a carry on bag for NYC. It's a really beautiful, soft, pale shade of pink. And it looks beautiful with many different outfits. Today the sun was shining strongly so I work a very Summery outfit before Summer goes completely. I was really surprised by the shade this hat gave, especially considering it wasn't a solid brim.

I think the fact that I own this dress says a lot about it, considering I am not the biggest fan of some of the pieces put out by City Chic. But this one I just love. It's a super duper girlie dress, so it's not going to be every ones cup of tea. But I really adore it. It's so comfortable too, you could wear this doing anything and it's not at all restrictive. It also has quite the V back, which I love in Summer because you can feel the breeze as well as the sun on your skin.
The hat and the dress combined give me a very Southern feel, which I simply adore! This outfit make me long for long warm, balmy nights and country music.. Hello Lady Antebellum! Trust me, if you have no listened to their album, you NEED to you!
Sometimes, a girl just needs to feel really girlie. And this dress really does that for me. But we all know by know that I am more than slightly obsessed with dresses!
