OOTN: Science & Faith.

I found the most amazing top yesterday at Myer and I just couldn't wait to show you! I have been lusting after a top like this for ages, I've seen similar tops on other bloggers around the globe and wish those tops were mine! I damn near fainted in Myer when I saw the last one of these in my size!

Admittedly I didn't style this up too much or tuck it in. I just wanted to keep it super simple and let the top be the centre of attention. I kind of feel when you have one piece that is big on texture, you can still keep the rest of your outfit quirky but try not to let anything else over take it.  


As beautiul as this top is, and it REALLY is it has a really weird under top, that is shorter and a little tighter than the actual top is... it's not a flaw, it's just a little annoying. But I love it so much It's not that big of a deal breaker for me. 









To be honest, I don't even think these photos show the colour off well enough. It's coming across like a dark chocolate, but its more like a deep goldy bronze.. which is just divine! You would think that this would ease my need for more sequins. But no... not at all. It makes me want more of them is anything!







At least these photos show you just how much it actually glimmers and shines! Yes I love sequins, but I'm picky about them. They have to be a certain kind of sequin, that looks luxe and lovely. That gleams in just the right way when the light hits it... yes, I'm very particular about sequins, to say the least!

  2. the bronze and turquoise is a brilliant color combination! i also love your bob cut... you look fabulous. i have crazy long hair and sometimes think about getting a short cut. would love your advice on if you think it would look good or not :)

      See I've very lucky with my hair, its thin but I HAVE CRAZY AMOUNTS OF IT! So a bob sits very well on me. The best advice I could give would be to find yourself a really, really, REALLY good stylist and tell them you want to go shorter, and they will advice the best way to go about it, they will advise what style would should you best with your face and hair type. I wish I could have love hair, but like Alexa Chung says about her own hair "I look shit when I have long hair".

      But at the end of the day, you have to bite the bullet and just chop it off. I had super long hair that was past my shoulders and I just closed my eyes and them him cut it. So if you know your going to really miss your length dont do it lol
