I love this outfit, I found the skirt and top, would you believe, on my very LAST day in LA, like on the actual day I flew out! I was in a shopping mall, and I walked out of Macy's and there was just this random plus size store (we don't have those here in Australia). The only way I knew it was a plus size store was the face that it had 1XL, 2XL & 3XL signage up! Naturally I went in, I didn't have very much time, but I walked out with these items and a coral version of this top all for... wait for it, $50 including tax! Probably my best buy in LA apart from some handbags... but they will be on the blog soon!
Also how fab are these Torrid shoes?! Perfect shoes to go with whatever, I call em staple shoes or the LBD of shoes! Love them to bits! Also, I got this bag at H&M in New York. I saw it and I fell completely love, plus its big enough to hold my iPad, DSLR, phone, wallet.. you know? all the blogger essentials.
The one other thing I went a bit crazy on buying the states was cosmetics namely MAC and NARS. While I was away I received quite a few messages and emails asking about my make-up / skincare routine, so leave a comment below and let me know if you would like me to do a post dedicated to just that! I do use quite a few different products, especially powders, but I use them sheer and layer - it's complicated, but if I do a post I promise to explain what, how and why I use the products I use!
