Welcome Back Home.....

To the freezing cold, might I add. Take me back to the Californian sunshine right away! Pronto! The weather was so perfect there, and It's quite confronting to have to come back and be all rugged up in coats and knit wear... but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

Oversized Beanie - ASOS
Check Coat (US22) - ASOS CURVE
Knit Sweater (2XL) - H&M+
Leggings (US20) - ASOS CURVE
Leopard Print Flats (US12) - Lower East Side via Payless Shoes in NYC
Snake Bracelet - Samantha Wills
Unicorn Necklace - Peaches Geldof for MADE

This is a sweater that I picked up in H&M in NYC. I actually picked up a different colour version of this too. It's actually a sweater dress, but this one is more of a top since the size down makes it too short to wear as a dress. I need some very opaque tights to wear with the dress version of this, other wise my legs might freeze and fall. Not dramatic at all. I felt very hipster in this outfit, in a 1960's kinda way.... might be because I decided I want to go to London now!

Ahh good to be home, but please Mr. Weather Man... warm it up a bit, it's freezing!

Stay Beautiful!

Until Next Time xox <3

  2. Hey! Love the outfit - I agree it has a whole mod feel!

I would like to ask about the leggings though - they seem really long? I generally find the ASOS Curve ones to be 'average' length, if not a little short - and I am only 1m73. Could you tell me which ones these are?

All the best getting used to the cold again!

    1. Thank you so much for your commment Anita!

I think it depends on the type of legging. I found the sequin ones to be a little short in the leg as opposed to these regular ones. I bought these a few seasons ago (so they have lasted quite well), they have been my favourite legging by far. These are just the basic, plain legging from Asos curve, which I get in a size down :)

It's horrible trying to get used to the cold again, but at least I have cute coats!

    2. Hey - thanks for your response! I think you're right about it being luck of the draw - I've tried sizing down too, but find they are sometimes not opaque enough (I have really big thighs!) - but the normal size ends up stretching a lot! I could swear I get sent different types everytime I order some - I can't win! Ah well, they are they best I've found so far so I am sticking with them - I would love my next ones to be super long like yours are though!

    3. I don't have the smallest of thighs but the first pair I bought from them were perfect, and then I ordered a whole bunch more and they were a completely different material! So I understand where your coming from, but just remember how something looks on me wont always look the same on another body because we are all shaped differently! I think I have like a 32inch inseam so It's not like I have short legs.... but they are long leggings on me lol Work it out? It's insane! lol

  5. Oh man, my dream for the last 15ish years is to go to London! I want to tour the UK and Europe. But England is somewhere I've always been drawn too, you can tell too by the amount of Union Jack stuff I own! Love the outfit & yes, it's COLD! I can only imagine it's colder where you are! There is certainly a chill in the air this winter.
