So this weeks challenge isn't really outfit based. But its about bold nails - which isn't really me. I mostly stick to neutral shades, and often mix it up by sometimes wearing classic red or black on my nails.
The reason I love neutrals and pastel colours is because I think they look a lot more classic and chic than bright brassy pinks, which when I do wear I hate.... you also don't notice the chips as soon. And sometimes nail colours can really clash with what your wearing and with certain outfits a nail colour can make it look a bit too much. So today I am going to show you one of my favourite nail colours of ALL TIME. Ballet Slippers is a cult classic Essie shade and I simply adore how it makes my nails look and it also lets any rings I might be wearing shine!
Essie's 3 way glaze is an amazing product. It's both a base coat and a top coat and it gives your nails an intense shine that I just adore.
Gold ring on ring finger - GLITTERRINGS * // Gold Spike Ring - Chubby Cartwheels *
Top ring - I feel really bad but I have no idea who it's by, It was purchased in NYC at the Curves in the City shopping event during FFFWeek. Bottom ring- Colette.
xx

I'm a huge fan of Essie too :) gorgeous
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I love all shades of nail polish, I love neons for summer, pastels and neutrals. And for fall I love black and jewel tones!
ReplyDeleteLove all your rings- I'd like to wear more, but find it hard to find ones that fit my big fingers. Love the pretty pastel look of your nails. :-)
ReplyDeletehey hey hey!! I love a bold brassy pink!!!!!! lol ;)
ReplyDeleteThe nail prompt has certainly slip the crowd this week. Lots of no nails or no bold. These are bold in their own way, especially with those RINGS!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I think I only have one or two natural colour, all of mine seem to be rather bright. I do have pastels, but not many creams. Love the rings!
ReplyDeleteLove your nail colour...spot on about neutrals working with every outfit. A spot of colour is fun occasionally, but it won't work with everything.
ReplyDeleteyour rings are to die for.
ReplyDeletei love essie's formula for varnish!
