So I'm pretty sure if you follow my Facebook page for Too Many Sequins you would know that yesterday I went for a hair cut. And it wasn't just a trim. I didn't shed a tear - I just watched silently as my hair was slowly chipped away at. Even seeing all my hair on the floor didn't break my heart.
To celebrate my big chop I just wanted to get super dressed up! The wind was so cold though it was turning my legs blue - but I felt so fabulous with my new hair I really didn't care. If your thinking of getting your hair cut into a short crop - DO IT! Take lots of photos of styles you like to your hair stylist, be really clear about what you don't want and most of all listen to their advice, if you do all that you really can't go wrong. And if at the end of the day you regret it... it's just hair, it will grow back!

i've been reading your blog over the summer (i can't remember how i found it, i think through some fatshionista blogs) and just wanted to comment to say how fantastic your hair looks! it totally suits you. i just recently chopped off 15+ inches of mine and was surprised to find that it's altered the look of some of my favourite outfits that seemed to work with flowing curly mermaid hair and now look slightly off with a mod inverted bob. i can't wait to see how yours works into your outfits!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fierce haircut! You are really rocking it in these photos. And of course your outfit looks fab. :)
ReplyDeleteEverything is perfect!! I love how you match your clothes. I think you're so brave in your mixes but it always looks great. I wish I had that sense for fashion.
ReplyDeleteLove your outfits and creativity always - but this just takes it up a notch! LOVE IT.
