I follow on GFC and liked you on Facebook. I love all three, but I'd probably pick the maxi dress. I'm not Australian but all the fashion blogs seem fun and modern (which is really vintage, haha).

Awesome that is open to worldwide thanks... follow you through Blog Lovin. The outfit I would love is the Global Traveller Maxi Skirt.
ReplyDeleteJackie - hippygalnz@gmail.com. Australian style to me is like New Zealand style - which is peasant skirts, ethnic, beachy clothes (hope this is what you mean)

To me Australian style is synonymous with individuality and personality. As a Sydneysider I think it's all about expressing who you are while maintaining a casual air of practicality.

Australian Style to me is being comfortable and being able to wear whatever you want to wear. So many diversities.
Hello!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the hi-lo dress, it would be perfect to wear to my graduation from my vet nursing course in December. Fresh and summery but a little different.
To me, Australian Style is all about taking risks, and clothing that reflects our culture and climate. Sheer dresses, minimalism, bright colours and lovely bold jewellery with natural gemstones... That about sums it up I think :)

Australian style to me is breaking the rules, wearing what YOU love and not necessarily following trends all of the time.
Embracing your own individual style regardless of what the 'in' thing is and wearing whatever you do with confidence :)
I'm in love with it all!

To me, Austrailian style is something the caters to women of a edgier style aesthetic. Too much of American plus size clothing targets women who dress a lot more conservatively, and can come off incredibly boring to me. I do the majority of my shopping on sites that are based out of the country, and this contest can give me the opportunity to continue supporting a company that doesn't settle for fuddy duddy clothing.
I would love to win the Modern Romance Kimono Maxi Dress.

I think of Australian style as a mix of both trendy and classical pieces competing in the globalized fashion industry.
I couldn't decide, so pretty please consider me for the traveller maxi skirt and the hi-low pink dress. They are gorgeous, so beautiful. And congratulations on 1,000. Well done you. :)
ReplyDeleteAustralian style for me has a certain level of unstructured freedom about it. Every the most gorgeously tailored pieces will have that freedom ingrained in it. I would normally say colourful and light too, but lately I'm seeing loads of gorgeous stuff that is not that colourful, literally, but still has that certain something very Australian about it.

AUSSIE STYLE
What I love most about Australian style is that whilst we are such trendy people, however don't feel like need to be slaves to trends. There is something fabulous about the way we all take such a personal approach to fashion! The way it should be - an expression of yourself!
Thanks! xx

Pretty in Pleats Hi Lo, please :D
AUSSIE STYLE:
To me Australian style cannot be defined in strict terms. It is personal expression. It is a pair of bright thongs and a flowing tunic in summer. It is the same tunic, cardigan, leggings, scarf and a cute beret in winter. It is as vast as our beautiful country is culturally diverse, and always has an air of practicality about it.
Hi ladies, dont forget to visit our facebook page and take a look at our summer catalogue, where you will see both dresses on the fabulous Bec from BGM models.............

I have never been to Australia I hope to someday! Australian fashion seems to be edgier than say US fashion. I also noticed through other Aus blogs and that you all seem to be very committed to looking fine and fierce all the time! You're very dedicated to fashion which is amazing!
just realised I didn't talk about what Aussie Style means to me in my post.

What Australian Style means to me! :
I'm from England and discovered the different beautiful Australian Styles recently in the last couple of years. My favourites are Peter Alexander (Gorgeous PJ's including Disney most recently :D )Alex Perry (Lovely floaty gowns <3 ) & Sass & Bide :)
Hi Jess!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your 1000 likes :)
I'd like to enter as well! Unfortunately I haven't been to Autralia before but am planing to go next year... I follow a couple of bloggers from Australia and must say that most of them are far more daring clothes-wise than here in Germany. I love all the creative ways in which bloggers from Australia create their outfits - most of the time they are very feminine, light, versatile and edgy at the same time :)

Australian style is that mix of bright colours and sophisticated black (which is also slimming, fabulously).
