Clements Ribeiro: Part One

I am so excited about this post. Really really excited. The ever amazing dolls over at Evans very kindly send me two pieces from the new Clements Ribeiro Swan Collection. I wasn't 1000% sold on their first collection, but when I saw these pieces go live, I was completely smitten.

I think most of you already know this, but I love prints and texture. This dress combines both elements and adds a dash of lace for extra loveliness. What I love about this dress, apart from it being really pretty, is that fact that it feels designer. It looks designer. And It really does look like  a Clements Ribeiro dress. I know that sounds silly, but sometimes these designer collections just don't seem to translate and they don't have the same feel as if you were to go into their boutique and spend $1000 on their designs. But this does. This doesn't feel like a "plus size" dress that just has a designer named slapped onto it. I guess what I'm trying to say is that... well it's hard to explain.
It doesn't feel like a high street piece, it feels boutique. Designer. Does that make sense to anyone?

"Celia" Dress by Clements Ribeiro for Evans worth with Kardashian Kollection Sunglasses,
Mimco Earrings, French Connection Clutch & Beth Ditto for Evans Shoes.

A small note on fit, whenever I order from Evans I always order a size up. This time was no different, I asked for a size up from my regular and the fit was spot on.
