The Man In Black

The inspiration for this outfit came from the Man in Black himself, Mr Johnny Cash. I love colour, patterns, prints and everything bold. But sometimes you can still make a real statement even with only one colour, just as Mr Cash did. 

One of the biggest rules we are taught, as curvettes, is that black is slimming. That it will "hide our flaws" - everyone forgets to mention how chic black is though. How classic and timeless it is. They are the real reasons that I wear black. 

This lovely little black dress was sent to me by the new Australian label, Bellecurve. I am a big lover of lace, and this is the nicest lace I have seen in quite a while. It's just an exquisite & heavy lace that is funnily enough, not at all heavy once it's on.
