Sometimes you can shock yourself with fashion. What you might not like right this minute, you could adore it come 2015. Tastes and perceptions change. And since starting Too Many Sequins both my tastes and perceptions, of not only fashion, but myself change frequently. Today's post is something I thought I would never wear. ever.
Don't limit yourself to what you THINK you should wear. Don't limit yourself to what you are TOLD to wear. You are you, you have your own tastes, your own style. So please to anyone reading this just start embracing them. Don't listen to anything but your own heart.
And I know I am wearing these Evans shoes again, but I am just completely obsessed with the velvet and the platform, I've dreamt about shoes like this in my size since forever.

You look lovely :]
ReplyDeleteLove the look and the shoes, thinking of buying them too, they are so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI think someone was channeling her inner Marilyn Monroe. <3 I love that hair, well I love the whole outfit and face and hair! :D The message was also inspiring. I think when it gets warmer I am gonna wear a bikini. I have always wanted to wear one, but never did because I have a tummy and stretch marks. <3 <3 <3 So eloquent and chic. <3
ReplyDeleteLove the combination of textures! And the message. :) You haven't written about your label in a while! How is it going? And more importantly, where /when can we get your pieces?? :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, for the rest of us who also dream of launching our own labels one day, could you tell us the story about how you got started? Your posts are always so inspiring! <3
