OOTD: Who's That Girl? It's Jess!

Ok, so New Girl has started on Channel Ten! And with out a doubt I can say that it is my new favourite show! And because my name is also Jessica, I've been singing the theme tune all week. It's Jess!

Studded Denim Blazer (24) - 17Sundays
Black Tee (16) - Rivers
Black & White Midi Skirt (US22) - ASOS Curve
Silver Mary Janes (UK9) - Beth Ditto for Evans

A few months ago the amazing girls over at 17Sundays showed me a preview of this blazer and from the moment I saw the photo I was in love. It's such a fresh piece for curvette fashions. It's so tailored and fitted. And the Acid Wash is right on trend. And as soon as It went live on the website I made it mine!

The best thing is, that the studs are a lot lighter than I expected. So it's not heavy to wear. The denim is amazingly soft and it feels beautiful to wear next to the skin.

It's just a really fun, chic piece to wear. You can layer it with skirts or with cute summer dresses. It's a great piece that you don't even have to think about. Just grab and go!

And I think you all know my love for this Asos Skirt. It's always so easy to wear. And you instantly feel put together when you wear it. It's just one of those pieces that I think will last a life time, and works into so many trends.

So there you have it! A new, sparkly piece from 17Sundays. Now head over to their website and check them out! Right now!

I have a few exciting posts on Too Many Sequins coming up in the next few months. I am so excited to show you some new things that will be entering my closet!

OOTN: It Will Rain:

Black Pleather Jacket (L) - Mink Denim
Polka Dot Lace Dress (US22) - Asos Curve
Black Onyx Necklace - Bells Jewellery
Neon Orang Pumps (12) - Gifted by Torrid.

Your going to have to forgive my messy hair, but I've given up trying to style it with this rainy weather. As soon as I walk out side it just gets messed up and wet anyway, so why bother? :)

This dress from Asos Curve, I think its officially my favourite dress, that is until new ones arrive anyway. The fit is just lovely. The fabrics used are just lovely. The whole dress is..... just lovely.

Obviously I didn't walk through to puddles last night when I wore this outfit but I did wear my shoes once I got where I was going, and I also popped them to take these outfit photos. Like I was going to risk wrecking these babies. I love how bright they are next to my paleness and the  all black of my outfit.

I think this would be a great first date outfit (anyone have someone I can date?) but its a really good basic, go to outfit. It can be styled in probably a million ways to create different looks.

OOTD: Bixby Canyon Bridge

Today's outfit is most definitely a play on textures and the whole girlie meets rock chick kinda vibe. I think teaming unexpected pieces together, I know I've said that a billion times already, but I really do.

Faux Leather Jacket (L) - Mink Denim
White Tee (16) - Rivers
Flower Tulle Skirt - Too Many Sequins
Flats (11) - Target
Necklace - Bells Jewellery
Headband - Kmart

I wanted to try and make this skirt more casual but I don't think it's ever going to be possible. Even with a plain tee it still stands out a mile! But I do like how this jacket looks with it. I bought this jacket ages ago, like years and years ago. And to be honest, I've never worn it before today. It's one of those pieces I loved in the store, still loved when I got home but never had the guts to wear - my confidence has only happened in the last year. So when I was going through some older clothes last night, I pulled it out - determined to wear it.

It looked just as nice with out the jacket, but it was a little nippy when I wore this outfit, so I needed a little bit of warmth. And because I wore the jacket undone, it stopped me from getting too hot.

OOTN: Winter Warning

So I'm not usually a coat girl, even though I've grown up in a mountain area that does sometimes snow during winter. I just sometimes feel too rugged up, if you know what I mean? I first saw this coat on Asos and ADORED it, but not being a coat girl I didn't buy it. Well when it popped up in the sale, I thought I'd try it, because the worst that could happen would be that I would sent it back to Asos and get a refund. I was so surprised when it arrived today being better than I expected. Much, MUCH better.

Coat (US22) - ASOS Curve
Lace Dress, worn underneath (US22) - ASOS Curve
Red Quilted Bag - CHANEL
Black Peep Toe Shoes (11) - Emerson for Big W

I think a lot of curvettes might be put off by the brightness of this coat, but that's what called out to me. It the photos on ASOS it also looked to have a beautiful texture and I just adored the oversized shape. It has a 1960's style but mixed in with a 1970's pattern, and I think the sleeves and everything all mixed in together, makes it really modern.

Now I know it's not Winter here in Australia, but I think we have skipped Summer just a little bit and I am more than excited for Winter fashion! And this coat is the perfect start! Also how cute is this Asos dress? I got taken in by the lace and the mix of textures with the chiffon. It's not what I usually go for but I love it! I love it's simplicity.

I didn't over style this outfit because the coat is such a statement piece. And if it were a Winter's night, the only thing I may have added is some big sparkly earrings.

Now I have a rather beautiful story to tell about this new Asos Curve coat. My darling grandmother actually opened the package it came in. And after I tried it on I could see how much she loved it. And I said to her, "why don't you just try it on?" and she did! And she loved it! For the first time in forever she looked in the mirror and loved her reflection! I was so happy! I hopped straight onto ASOS and ordered another coat for her! I love how a piece of clothing can change how someone feels about themselves, its amazing what that can do for people on the inside! I love the power that fashion has. What pieces in your wardrobe make you feel amazing?

I still cannot get over the fact that this coat, which is 35% wool was only $65! It feels so beautiful on too. Also see the long ribbed sleeves that pop out from under the coat sleeves, I didn't realise that was part of the coat, so I was so excited when I found out it was! L.O.V.E. Pure and simple. I've actually ordered another sale coat from Asos, so I'm all set for Winter!
