Now, I love the rain, More than anything else, at least weather wise that is, the sound it makes on my tin roof would have to be the best sound on earth... unless I have to venture out into said rain. At venture I had to! But I was still wearing an outfit I felt needed to be captured, as it felt chic and it was a great way to show how minimal layers can work in unexpected weather.
Also in this weather, I never wear any of my good shoes or boots. I never ever risk any water damage they might get, I'd never forgive myself if I were to wreck them! So I went with some sturdy flats I picked up in NYC!

I absolutely LOVE this outfit and the adorable umbrella! I actually have a weakness for cute umbrellas and this obsession that they have to match the rest of my outfit - at least colourwise! Nobody else gets it, LOL! I might even do a little post on that now that I'm thinking about it, LOL
